While the use of all natural ingredients for skin care can be traced back to ancient civilizations, it has only been in recent years that individuals have realized the many benefits of using an all natural organic skin care product for protecting and promoting the health of their skin. The labels on many of the skin products made by well known manufacturers attest to the fact that there are numerous chemicals contained in these products. What many individuals fail to realize is that these chemicals are absorbed by the skin and many of them are known as being toxic to the skin as well as the body especially with prolonged exposure. In this article, you will learn about the many choices in organic skin products as well as the health benefits gained from using an all natural organic skin product.

Natural Skin Care Products Health Benefits

Natural or organic skin care products are becoming more and more popular among consumers for several reasons including the fact that not only are they better for your skin, but many individuals select these products because they are also environmentally friendly. This is due to the fact that the chemicals utilized by factories to produce them and that are contained in many of the synthetic products have found their way into the air and water becoming pollutants. The overall health benefits of organic skin products is also a primary reason for utilizing them as there are many different chemicals contained in the synthetic products that are known to be potentially hazardous to our health.

One of the most common chemical ingredients listed on synthetic products is the word "fragrance". The specific type of fragrance is not usually listed due to the fact that any one of over four thousand different potentially harmful chemical ingredients may be used. An organic product will typically use an all natural essential oil in place of this ingredient. The chemicals "monoethanolamine" (MEA), "triethanolamine" (TEA), and "diethanolamine" (DEA) are also very common ingredients found in synthetic personal care products including most facial cleansers, bubble baths, and shampoos. These chemicals have been associated with certain cancers and contributing to hormonal imbalances. Organic personal care products have a much lesser tendency to irritate the skin and are the perfect choice for individuals who suffer from skin allergies due to heir hypoallergenic properties.

Organic Skin Care Product Varieties

There is an organic skin product available today to replace just about any type of synthetically made skin product. There are facial cleansers for removing dead skin, oil, dirt, and unclogging pores as well as complexion toners that contain all natural ingredients such as witch hazel and natural herbal extracts. Many types of organic hair care products are also available including shampoos and conditioners which remove dirt and oils as well as the buildup of residue that is left by other hair care or styling products. These are just a few of the many benefits and types of all natural skin products and there are many others available to suit just about anyone's skin care requirements ,therefore, you will have no difficulty in finding the right organic skin care product to fulfill your needs.

We tend to think that just because things are organic they're automatically better. Don't get me wrong, they are a lot of the time, but we always want to pay attention to details too.

We're coming full circle here. We went from natural before un-natural even existed, and now we're going back to natural again.
